Off the Shoulder Periwinkle

Yep…pretty sure periwinkle is my absolute favorite…isn’t it just the happiest color?! I am especially loving this off the shoulder, tie strap top in periwinkle paired with nude accessories – so classy and chic! Also, who doesn’t love dressing up blue jeans? Comfort is key, in my opinion! 😉

You may have noticed my absence in posting over the past few days and it’s because I went on vacation (finally!) to Chicago to visit two of my best friends from high school and college. Though my Instagram is a pretty good image summary of my trip, I’ll be posting a wrap-up on the blog sometime this week (in between laundry…grocery shopping…my day job…wait, can I just go back on vacation already?! 😉 ). To be brief, it was a perfect weekend and I am quite sad that it’s over! Anyhoo, stay tuned for that blog post coming soon!

Okay so back to this adorable outfit. 😉 My top comes in a few colors, but periwinkle was my top pick from Topshop. The jeans are also Topshop and man are they SO adorable! Honestly, so flattering and really comfortable…I was in desperate need of some go-to blue jeans (that aren’t distressed and can go with anything – always handy to have a pair laying around!). My nude shoes are only $54 and in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, such a great buy for shoes you can wear with ANY outfit! The clutch is another great investment piece to have on hand in your closet, you can’t go wrong buying neutrals like nude or black, they’ll always get so much wear!

As for accessories, I paired my Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace in Chalcedony with the periwinkle top…loving that soft color combo! I also wore my new favorite sunglasses (just $78 and I have literally worn them EVERY DAY since buying them, ha!). Honestly, I am obsessed with Toms products…everything is cute, affordable and lasts forever (this is my third pair of Toms sunnies, I am clearly an avid fan!). My drusy double ring is by Kendra Scott and another go-to accessory, I love this thing and have it in two colors…I wear them all the time!
