Trendy Boho Summer Style

Most excellent news! Well, two things really. First, my brother Jacob and his family just moved back to Austin…(Hoorah! We certainly missed them!).  Two, he is a very talented photographer (it’s actually his day job, he’s a wedding photographer with his wife, Ary, pretty darn cute!) and he shot this entire look. As you know, I am very proud of my family and adore them so much (can you tell yet? Ha!), and I was so excited he could take a break from his busy schedule to do a fun little fashion shoot for me. 🙂 Anyhoo, just so you know my big ‘ol cheesy grins in the pictures above are real…he’s a total goofball!

So! Back to this lovely little outfit. This dress? Just $38 and SO comfortable! Easy breezy and fun to dress up or down…just swap the mule wedges for some fab summer sandals. I ordered a size up than I usually wear, Topshop sizing seems to run quite snug! My hat is out of stock in this rust color, but good news is that the olive green version is still online – it was a tough call to pick between both colors, they’re both amazing for summer and festival season coming up shortly! Really it’s the fit that got me…it’s literally the perfect size/shape! My fringe bag (which as you know by now if you follow me on Instagram) has become my bff for the past few weeks. Seriously, this thing is $32 and goes with everything…I also scooped up the black version, too. Can’t go wrong loading up on neutrals…(and especially at that price!).

My earrings are from my mom’s incredible turquoise jewelry closet, she has the prettiest collection to choose from…I love it when I get to raid her closet! 😉 My ring is the fab “Naomi double drusy ring” by Kendra Scott – I love the hint of glamorous edge it brings to my look. My watch is my go-to Michael Kors turquoise dial watch and the ahh-maaze-zing fringe necklace is by Stella & Dot.
